Fatal Car Accident on Highway 95 Near Highway 160 [Indian Springs, NV]
Passenger Dies in Two-Car Collision in Indian Springs
INDIAN SPRINGS, NV (June 12, 2020)—A man perished Wednesday morning following a two-car accident on Highway 95 near Highway 160.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the fatal event unfolded around 3:30 a.m. Patrol officers believe a driver of a Ford F-150 was heading northbound on Highway 95. In a portion of the highway where there lies only a single lane in both directions, the truck crossed the center line, entering the southbound lanes and slamming into a southbound Honda Pilot.
Unfortunately, the male passenger of the Honda pilot died at the scene. The male driver of the Honda, as well as the Ford driver, suffered critical injuries and received treatment at University Medical Center after being airlifted by paramedics.
Impairment has been ruled out as a possible source of the crash; however, investigators are looking into other possibilities.
