Manuel Rodriguez III Detained Following Two-Car DUI Accident at Cochran Street and Sequoia Avenue
SIMI VALLEY, CA (June 15, 2020) — Four people were hospitalized following Wednesday’s DUI fiery accident at Cochran Street and Sequoia Avenue.
Police have identified Manuel Rodriguez III as the 29-year-old driver who they believe had been under the influence during the two-car accident.
According to reports, the fiery crash drew police to the scene around 6:54 p.m. There, officials located two cars with significant damage and one on its side and engulfed in flames.
With the help of Good Samaritans and First Responders, four people escaped the blaze and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Following the investigation, officers arrested Rodriguez, of Oxnard, on DUI charges. No other new information was available but if anyone has insight into this crash, please contact local authorities.
