WHITTIER, CA (June 15, 2020) — A driver fatally struck a man in a pedestrian accident on Imperial Highway near Duffield Avenue late Friday night.
 
The incident happened around 10:15 p.m. just before authorities responded to find a male pedestrian with grave injuries.
 
Firefighter paramedics arrived shortly thereafter to try to revive the victim, but he had died despite their life-saving efforts. Meanwhile, the driver involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigations.
