Shea Pinney Injured, Driver Dead in Two-Car Accident at Base Line Road and Haven Avenue
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (June 9, 2020) — A two-vehicle fiery accident at Base Line Road and Haven Avenue turned fatal, killing a driver at the scene.
According to reports, a westbound traveling 2016 Kia collided with a northbound 1996 Lexus at the intersection under unclear circumstances. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials said the Kia erupted into flames, trapping its driver inside the vehicle.
Firefighters responded around 3:18 a.m. and extinguished the blaze. However, they found the deceased driver inside the charred heap of metal.
The driver of the Lexus, whom authorities identified as 35-year-old Shea Pinney of Rancho Cucamonga, sustained unknown injuries and received treatment at a local hospital.
