Camille Kimball Arrested in Fatal DUI Crash on 680 Freeway Near El Pintado Road
DANVILLE, CA (June 9, 2020) — Police arrested an alleged DUI driver following Saturday’s fatal head-on collision on the 680 Freeway near El Pintado Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers arrested 27-year-old Camille Veraanne Kimball on felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter charges.
Investigators believe that she drove her 2020 Ford Fusion southbound in the northbound lanes of the freeway and collided head-on with a 2012 Honda Civic.
As a result of the accident, a 46-year-old woman from Antioch, as well as a 26-year-old man from Antioch, died in the crash; their identities have yet to be released to the public.
Kimball, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, received treatment at John Muir Hospital.
