Two-Vehicle Accident in San Diego Leaves Driver With Serious Injuries

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 5, 2020) — A driver suffered severe injuries following Thursday’s two-vehicle collision at Poway Road and Springhurst Drive.
 
According to San Diego police officers, pickup truck driver heading eastbound at a high rate of speed crashed into a big rig that was stopped at a red traffic light.
 
Shortly after the 6 a.m. crash, paramedics transported the 33-year-old driver to an area hospital. Per reports, he suffered facial injuries and severe internal trauma, including a broken hip.
 
No other injuries were reported in the accident, and the cause of the crash has yet to be confirmed by authorities.
