Two Officers Injured in LAPD Vehicle Crash on Ventura Boulevard [Studio City, CA]

LAPD SUV Crashes into Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf near Whitsett Avenue

 
STUDIO CITY, CA (June 1, 2020) – The Los Angeles Police Department said that two officers suffered injuries in an LAPD vehicle crash in the 12501 block of Ventura Boulevard on Monday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Whitsett Avenue at approximately 7:40 PM.
 
A report showed that a civilian car accidentally cut off the police vehicle prior to the accident. As a result, the officers swerved to avoid hitting the car and crashed into a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf store.
 
As a result, paramedics sent two officers to the hospital. The victims sustained minor injuries.
 
Police did not release further details. However, they continue to investigate the case.
