Speeding Leads to Car and Medical Van Accident in Victorville
VICTORVILLE, CA (May 18, 2020) – Emergency crews airlifted a woman to a trauma hospital after a car crash on Hesperia Road on Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at approximately 2:20 PM.
A report showed that the victim was a passenger in a gold-colored Camry that was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the accident. For unknown reasons, the Camry crossed into the southbound lanes and collided with a Victorville Medical Transportation van.
As a result, the female passenger was ejected from the car. Crews sent her to a trauma center for treatment. In addition, they also transported the male driver of the Camry to a local hospital for complaint of pain. They also sent the driver and a passenger in the medical van to the hospital for a precaution.
In addition, there were reports about the Camry driving throwing a gun before police arrived at the scene.
