Victim Fatally Struck by Car in West Covina Pedestrian Accident on 10 Freeway
WEST COVINA, CA (May 29, 2020) — One person died Thursday morning following a pedestrian accident on 10 Freeway near South Azusa Avenue.
According to reports, callers reported a person lying in the No. 1 lane of the freeway near the South Azusa Avenue exit around 4:30 a.m.
However, investigators remain unsure as to what led to the fatal accident.
Officials closed all eastbound lanes of the freeway due to investigations. By 5:15 a.m., they opened the No. 5 lane before reopening the remaining lanes two hours later.
