TULARE, CA (June 1, 2020) — A bicyclist died Friday after being struck by a driver during a police chase near North Blackstone Street and East Prosperity Avenue.
The incident happened around 7:00 p.m. Officers spotted 30-year-old Barry Tarrell Dantzler near a Motel 6 in the city of Tulare.
Officers believe that Dantzler might have been involved in the killing of 37-year-old Heather Sloan, whose body was found by Visalia Police at a home on Thomas Court near Paradise Avenue.
