One Killed in Bicycle Accident on 19th Avenue [Phoenix, AZ]
Vehicle and Bicycle Involved in Deadly Accident near Bethany Home Road
PHOENIX, AZ (May 27, 2020) – Police confirmed that one person was killed in a bicycle accident on 19th Avenue on early Wednesday morning.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the accident happened near Bethany Home Road just after 4:00 AM.
A report showed that the bicyclist was crossing the street when the accident happened. At that time, an unidentified car heading westbound collided with him.
As a result, emergency crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene. They did not release his identity pending kin notification.
The driver of the car stayed at the crash scene and cooperated with investigators.
Police did not release further information. However, they continue to investigate the case.
