Pedestrian Injured in Accident on International Boulevard [Oakland, CA]
Vehicle and Pedestrian Involved in Crash near 104th Avenue
OAKLAND, CA (May 22, 2020) – Police confirmed that a pedestrian suffered injuries in an accident on International Boulevard on Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near 104th Avenue at approximately 11:45 AM.
For an unknown reason, an unidentified vehicle struck the victim. Oakland Police located the vehicle and the victim at the scene. However, they did not release more details regarding the cause of the crash.
Officials from the Oakland Fire Department treated the pedestrian at the scene. In addition, they did not require hospitalization after medical intervention.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene. Police did not make any arrests. However, the case is still under investigation.
