Aide Bustamante Dead, Cash Rencanzone Detained after Downey Car Accident

 
DOWNEY, CA (May 26, 2020) — Two victims died in a hit-and-run two-vehicle accident on the 5 Freeway near Paramount Boulevard Saturday.
 
According to police, the 2:30 p.m. collision befell on the freeway’s southbound side. State Police say a southbound Fiat 500 collided with the rear of a 2004 Nissan Sentra, north of Paramount Boulevard.
 
The impact of the two-car collision sent to the Nissan tumbling down a dirt embankment before hitting a tree and killing its male driver, whom authorities have yet to identify, as well as 32-year-old Aide Bustamante.
 
Shortly after, Los Angeles County firefighters declared both occupants dead at the scene.
 
Cash Rencanzone, of Peoria, Ariz., fled the scene, abandoning the Fiat, yet was followed by a witness. Officers uncovered the Fiat around Florence Avenue and Studebaker Road. After that, police interviewed and arrested the 24-year old on suspicion of hit-and-run.
