Carl Nielsen Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Deep Creek Road [Apple Valley, CA]
Motorcycle Collides with Semi-Truck in Fatal Accident near Rock Springs Road
APPLE VALLEY, CA (May 16, 2020) – Police identified Carl Nielsen as the rider who got killed in a motorcycle crash on Deep Creek Road on Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, it happened near Rock Springs Road at approximately 3:51 PM.
The 38-year-old Apple Valley man was driving his dirt bike on the road at the time when a truck was making a left turn at the intersection. As a result, he collided with the truck.
Firefighters brought Nielsen to Desert Valley Hospital for treatment. However, he later succumbed to severe injuries.
The California Highway Patrol did not release additional information. However, officers are investigating the collision and anyone with information is asked to call the Victorville CHP office at 760-241-1186.
