According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near the Santa Cruz Ranch RV Resort at approximately 5:00 PM.
 
The juvenile was riding a bicycle when a car came and struck him. Police did not release specific details regarding the crash.
 
The boy’s father transported the victim to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
