Joshua Acup Arrested After Wrong-Way Crash on Waterman Boulevard [Fairfield, CA]
DUI Suspected in Wrong-Way Crash near Edmonton Drive
FAIRFIELD, CA (May 13, 2020) – Police arrested Joshua Acup after a wrong-way crash on Waterman Boulevard on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened near Edmonton Drive at approximately 4:40 PM.
The 32-year-old Citrus Heights man was driving an SUV when he crossed the double-yellow lines. As a result, he collided with a motorcyclist.
Emergency crews transported the motorcyclist to a local trauma center for unspecified injuries. Acup was not injured in the incident.
Joshua Acup was booked into the Solano County jail on suspicion of driving the wrong way and on suspicion of driving under the influence.
