Ashley Mora, Abrianna Surita Killed in San Bernardino Car Crash
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (May 18, 2020) — A high-speed solo-car accident at East Mill Street and Tippecanoe Avenue Friday left two teens dead.
According to the San Bernardino Police Department, the crash unfolded at roughly 6:07 p.m. The Nissan Maxima, occupied by the teens, was heading east on East Mill Street, approaching the intersection with Tippecanoe Avenue.
However, the Maxima failed to stop for the red traffic light signal. As a result, it slammed into a concrete wall. Both teens died at the scene.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division, officers identified them as 19-year-old Ashley Mora — the driver — and 17-year-old Abrianna Surita — the passenger.
Police are conducting an investigation. However, if anyone has information regarding this crash, please contact the department.
