Motorcyclist Injured in Crash With Car at Amargosa Road and Midtown Drive [Victorville, CA]
Rider Hurt in Victorville Motorcycle Accident
VICTORVILLE, CA (May 14, 2020)—Paramedics ushered a motorcyclist to a trauma center following Wednesday’s crash at Amargosa Road and Midtown Drive.
According to reports, the 9:54 a.m. accident happened near the WinCo shopping center. Arriving deputies found a motorcyclist lying several feet from a black 2002 Suzuki GSF. They also found a red Ford Mustang that sustained rear-end damage just north of the impact.
The rider suffered unknown injuries, which urged Victorville City Firefighters to request an Airship to airlift the patient to a trauma center. Meanwhile, the driver of the red Ford Mustang stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez said the driver of the Mustang crossed into the motorcycle’s trajectory of travel, causing the rider to rear-end the vehicle; however, information surrounding where the fault lies and other factors that contributed to the accident demand more investigation.
Witnesses willing to help police are encouraged to call the Victorville Police Department at 720-241-2911.
