Megan Worrall Arrested After DUI Crash on Guerneville Road [Santa Rosa, CA]
DUI Driver Involved in Head-On Crash near Willowside Road
SANTA ROSA, CA (May 13, 2020) – Police arrested Megan Worrall after a DUI crash on Guerneville Road on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened near Willowside Road at approximately 8:55 AM.
A tow truck driver was changing a tire on a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu when he saw its driver drinking alcohol. He then notified authorities when the driver fled.
31-year-old Sebastopol resident Worrall Malibu was heading west on Guerneville when she crossed the double yellow lines and crashed head-on with a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe going the other direction.
Emergency crews took Worrall and the Tahoe driver to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major and moderate injuries respectively.
Police arrested Worrall on suspicion of DUI. They initially released her to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.
