Caltrans Truck Involved in Fatal Bellflower Car Accident

 
BELLFLOWER, CA (May 12, 2020) – Police confirmed that two people died after a Caltrans truck crash on 91 Freeway on Tuesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened near Downey Avenue around 10:00 AM.
 
A report from the Los Angeles County Fire Department identified a Caltrans truck and another vehicle at the scene. However, they did not establish the events that led up to the accident.
 
One person died at the scene while another died while being rushed to the hospital. Police did not release the identities of the deceased prior to kin notification.
 
The police did not show additional information. However, the California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
