Lameia Jamerson Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Carol Avenue [North Las Vegas, NV]

29-Year-Old Woman Struck and Killed by Car near Bassler Street

 
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (May 8, 2020) – Police identified Lameia Jamerson as the victim who got killed in a pedestrian accident on Cheyenne Avenue on Friday morning.
 
According to the Clark County Coroner’s office, the crash happened near Bassler Street around 5:20 AM.
 
The 29-year-old woman was outside of a crosswalk prior to the accident. As a result, a black Dodge pickup hit her.
 
An attending coroner confirmed that Lameia Jamerson died from blunt force trauma.
 
The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers.
 
Police said they do not believe the driver was impaired. However, they continue to investigate the incident.
