Person Dies in Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 11, 2020) — A pedestrian died Thursday night following an accident with a vehicle on West Vernon Avenue near Cimarron Street.
According to reports, authorities responded to the traffic collision that befell around 9:24 p.m. in the 2000 block of West Vernon Avenue.
Arriving units found a severely injured victim with major trauma and a gray Honda sedan at the scene. While firefighters tended to the pedestrian, who subsequently died, the driver of the Honda stayed on-site and cooperated with law enforcement’s questioning.
The age or gender of the victim was not immediately identified. In addition, authorities have yet to ascertain the cause and events that took place prior to the impact. However, anyone who witnessed this accident, please call the police.
