Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident on West Lane [Stockton, CA]
Vehicle and Pedestrian Accident near Knickerbocker Drive
STOCKTON, CA (May 2, 2020) – Authorities confirmed that a man died in a pedestrian accident on West Lane on Saturday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Knickerbocker Drive around 9:45 PM.
The Stockton Police Department said the victim crossed the street against a red light when he was struck by an unidentified vehicle.
Paramedics transported the man in his 40s to the hospital, where he died due to severe injuries. However, officials did not release his identity.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene to cooperate with law enforcement. However, no further details were released.
