Driver Dies After Slamming Into Tree in Pasadena 110 Freeway Crash
PASADENA, CA (May 8, 2020) — A woman died Thursday morning following a single-vehicle accident on the 110 Freeway at the Fair Oaks Avenue off-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 2000 Infiniti I30 the woman had been operating left the roadway at an unknown speed and slammed into a tree.
Officers described her as a 33-year-old Panorama City woman who died shortly thereafter. The coroner’s office has withheld her name pending notification of her relatives.
It’s not clear what drove the 4 a.m. accident but investigators are looking to witnesses for help.
