Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on 710 Freeway [Bell, CA]
One Killed in Pedestrian Crash near Florence Avenue
BELL, CA (May 5, 2020) – Authorities confirmed that a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on 710 Freeway on Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near the exit for Florence Avenue around 2:10 AM.
A report showed the pedestrian running on the right side of the freeway when a vehicle dragged the victim to the side of the road.
Officers found the pedestrian down in the No. 3 lane of the freeway. As a result, the victim died at the scene. However, their identity is unknown.
It is unclear why the pedestrian ran across the street. However, an investigation continues.
