Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on West 92nd Street [Los Angeles, CA]
Hit-and-Run Vehicle Involved in Pedestrian Crash near South Western Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 30, 2020) – Authorities confirmed that a man died in a hit-and-run crash on West 92nd Street early Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near South Western Avenue just before 4:00 AM.
A report from the Los Angeles Police Department showed the 33-year-old man walking in the crosswalk at the intersection when he was hit by a vehicle traveling northbound on Western Avenue. The unidentified vehicle left the scene after the crash.
The man died at the scene. However, police did not release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
Authorities did not provide a description of the vehicles. However, an investigation is ongoing.
