Father Dies, Daughter Survives Pauma Valley Motorcycle Accident on Highway 76
PAUMA VALLEY, CA (May 4, 2020)—A 57-year-old man died in Thursday’s motorcycle accident on Highway 76 near Rincon Ranch Road.
According to authorities, a 57-year-old motorcyclist and his 16-year-old daughter rode a Honda motorcycle around 4:40 p.m. As the pair traveled west on a curve on Highway 76, the motorcycle traveled off the road and overturned.
The impact ejected the pair from the bike, causing fatal injuries to the father. However, his daughter suffered minor injuries.
The identity of the Vista man has not been released to the public pending family notification, reports noted.
Authorities are looking into the details and possible factors that could explain the crash. Thus far, detectives ruled out impairment. However, if anyone has information surrounding this accident, they should call local authorities.
