Rider Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Veterans Parkway and Long Meadow Drive [Reno, NV]
Motorcyclist Dies in Reno Collision With Vehicle
RENO, NV (May 1, 2020) — A rider died following a crash with a vehicle Monday afternoon in a motorcycle accident on Veterans Parkway and Long Meadow Drive.
According to the Reno Police Department, the crash befell around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection. As a result, paramedics had to transport both the driver and the rider to a hospital.
However, the motorcyclist died shortly after.
Authorities have not yet determined the events that took place prior to the impact and the leading cause of the accident. So far, they’ve ruled out speed as a contributing source on the rider’s part.
