Police Officer Hurt in Crash While Responding to Emergency in Phoenix
PHOENIX, AZ (May 1, 2020)—A police officer responding to a call Saturday suffered an injury following a multi-vehicle accident at North 7th Street and East Bell Road.
According to news reports, the crash befell around 10:30 a.m. as the police officer responded to an emergency.
The marked police Chevrolet Tahoe had its lights and sirens turned on, making the public aware of its presence. However, a driver collided with the patrol vehicle, sending the Chevrolet into two other cars.
As a result of the accident, paramedics ushered the police officer to a hospital as a precaution. Thankfully, no one else was hurt.
