Skateboarder Hospitalized Following Tucson Skateboarding Accident

 
TUCSON, AZ (April 30, 2020) — A woman suffered life-threatening injuries Wednesday after being struck by a vehicle near East 5th Street and Swan Road.
 
Authorities have released information on the woman’s skateboard, urging the public to come forward if they know her identity.
 
The unidentified victim, described as a woman in her late teens to early 20s, was hit by an oncoming vehicle. Paramedics brought her to Banner-University Medical Center for further treatment.
 
The events that led to the crash and other details surrounding the cause demand more investigation; however, detectives urge witnesses to help them determine what had happened.
