Michelle Rodriguez Arrested After Distracted Driving Crash on Highway 397 [Kennewick, WA]
Toddler Hospitalized After Two-Car Crash near East 25th Avenue
KENNEWICK, WA (April 21, 2020) – Authorities charged Michelle Rodriguez with distracted driving after a crash on Highway 397 on early Tuesday evening.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened just south of East 25th Avenue around 5:30 PM.
Rodriguez, 39, of Kennewick traveled south on the highway in her Kia Sorento when she struck the back of a Honda Accord that had stopped to make a left turn onto a private driveway.
As a result, a 3-year-old girl in the Honda was taken to Trios Southridge Hospital. The condition of the victim was not yet known.
No other details were released. However, an investigation is ongoing.
