Three Vehicles Involved in Crash near Victoria Avenue
VENTURA, CA (April 23, 2020) – Five people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 101 on Thursday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened along the Victoria Avenue off-ramp around 7:52 PM.
Responders from the Ventura Fire Department found three vehicles at the scene. As a result, one person was trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Paramedics confirmed that at least five people were injured in the pile-up. One of the victims was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
The Victoria Avenue off-ramp closed while clearing and rescue operations took place in the area.
An investigation is on-going. However, police did not release any other details.
