25-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in Crash on East Avenue R [Palmdale, CA]

Fatal Vehicle and Pedestrian Crash near Hastings Street

 
PALMDALE, CA (April 26, 2020) – Authorities confirmed that a 25-year-old pedestrian was killed in a crash the 2100 block of East Avenue R on Sunday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Hastings Street around 9:30 PM.
 
A report from the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station showed the Hispanic man crossing the dimly lit roadway when he was struck by a blue 2015 blue Chrysler sedan.
 
Los Angeles County Fire responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
 
The driver of the vehicle did not appear to have any impairment prior to the collision. However, there are no further details regarding the incident.
