One Killed in Pedestrian Accident on 58th Street [Los Angeles, CA]

Vehicle and Pedestrian Fatal Crash near Compton Avenue

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 25, 2020) – Authorities confirmed that one person was killed in a pedestrian accident on 58th Street on Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Compton Avenue around 3:45 PM.
 
A report showed that the unidentified victim was struck by a vehicle. There were no other details available.
 
Paramedics transported the victim to St. Francis Medical Center, where the victim died due to severe injuries.
 
CHP officers closed the intersection while responders worked on the scene.
 
It was not clear if the driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with an investigation. However, an investigation is ongoing.
