Cyclist Struck, Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver in Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 23, 2020) — A bicyclist suffered serious injuries on April 10 following a hit-and-run crash on Baker Street and East California Avenue.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the incident unfolded around 4:28 p.m. Officials say that the vehicle that struck and seriously injured the cyclist fled the scene. As a result, that left police them with limited information.
Authorities described the vehicle as a faded avocado green 1967 El Camino that’s lowered with multi-spoke wheels.
