Man Killed in Red-Light Crash on La Palma Avenue [Buena Park, CA]
Three Vehicles Involved in Fatal Collision near Stanton Avenue
BUENA PARK, CA (April 14, 2020) – Authorities confirmed that a man got killed in red-light crash on La Palma Avenue on Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Stanton Avenue around 5:58 AM.
Reports showed that three vehicles involved in the crash that started after one of the drivers ran a red light at the intersection. As a result, it collided with two other vehicles.
The driver of a Honda car died at the scene. However, police did not identify the victim. One other person suffered minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.
It is not immediately clear which driver involved had driven through the intersection against a red light. However, an investigation is ongoing.
