APPLE VALLEY, CA (April 14, 2020) – Authorities confirmed that a man required an airlift to a hospital after a bicycle crash on Corwin Road on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Central Road around 12:19 PM.
The 55-year-old bicyclist entered the intersection when a 2019 white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck hit him. A 67-year-old drove the truck at the time of the accident.
Firefighters sent the victim to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center using a helicopter for treatment of major injuries. However, officials did not report any other injuries in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation. However, no other details were released.
