Pedestrian Chase Harriman Hit, Killed on North Camino Seco [Tucson, AZ]
Chase Harriman Fatally Struck by Driver on North Camino Seco Near East Speedway Boulevard
TUCSON, AZ (April 10, 2020) — A pedestrian lost his life Wednesday after being struck by a driver on North Camino Seco near East Speedway Boulevard.
The fatal crash happened around 7:00 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Camino Seco.
According to the Tucson Police Department, Chase R. Harriman was either walking or standing on the pavement but had kept to the side when a 2003 Toyota Corolla struck him in the southbound lane.
The driver of the Toyota contacted 911 and waited for them at the scene.
However, in spite of life-saving efforts, paramedics were unable to revive the 29-year-old victim and unfortunately, Harriman died.
Although investigators ruled out impairment as a possible driver in the accident, speed might have played a role. An investigation into this account continues.
Our heartfelt sympathies go out to the bereaved family and friends of Chase Harriman. During this time of grief, we hope you find comfort and courage in your loved ones.
