Tow Truck and Semi-Truck Crash near Lucy Brown Road
SHANDON, CA (April 9, 2020) – Police identified Joe Padilla and Jose Casas as the drivers injured in a crash on Highway 46 on Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened just east of Lucy Brown Road around 7:35 AM.
The involved vehicles were a 2013 Dodge Ram 3500 flatbed truck and a 2018 Freightliner tractor and a 53-foot semi-trailer loaded with produce.
Padilla, 54, from Bakersfield and Casas, 47, from Indiana, sustained minor injuries and were treated on the scene.
