Fashawn Pearson Arrested After Crash on Panama Lane [Bakersfield, CA]
One Killed in DUI Accident near Cottonwood Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 6, 2020) – Police arrested Fashawn Pearson after a fatal crash in the 3300 block of East Panama Lane on Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Cottonwood Road around 3:45 AM.
Bakersfield Police said that two cars were heading westbound the first car hit the other from behind. As a result, the second car overturned in the lanes.
The driver of the car that rolled over died at the scene. The driver of the first car, 25-year-old Pearson, was not hurt.
Police discovered Pearson under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. He was arrested and is now facing charges including driving under the influence resulting in death.
