Hit-and-Run Vehicle Involved in Pedestrian Accident near Vine Street
VISALIA, CA (April 1, 2020) – Police confirmed that a woman suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Dinuba Boulevard on Wednesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Vine Street around 7:45 PM.
Visalia Police said that the victim walked in the north lanes of Dinuba when a car hit her. The impact threw the woman roughly 100 feet from the original scene. The vehicle sped north immediately after the collision.
Paramedics sent the woman to Kaweah Delta Medical Center with serious injuries.
The hit-and-run vehicle is described as a maroon, midsize car and will likely have front end damage.
