Man Injured in Valley Springs Pedestrian Accident on Westhill Road in
VALLEY SPRINGS, CA (April 6, 2020) — A man sustained serious injuries following a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Westhill Road near McAtee Street.
According to reports, California Highway Patrol said a male victim and a driver of a tan Chevy Suburban SUV might have engaged in some type of altercation before the crash. The driver of the SUV subsequently ran down the pedestrian in the Jenny Lind area.
Due to the severity of the pedestrian’s injuries, officers contacted an air ambulance to the scene.
However, the driver had fled the scene at this point and was last seen heading south on Milton Road toward Farmington.
At this time, officers are searching for the whereabouts of the suspect while the victim seeks treatment and recovers at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. If anyone has information surrounding the suspect or the vehicle involved, please call officers.
