Man Killed in Car Crash on Highway 41 [Fresno, CA]
Two Vehicles Involved in Fatal Crash near South Avenue
FRESNO, CA (March 30, 2020) – Police confirmed that a man was killed in a car crash on Highway 41 on Monday afternoon.
According to Fresno Police, the accident happened near South Avenue at approximately 3:21 P.M.
Reports showed that the man stopped his 2005 Honda Civic at a stop sign before he started to cross the southbound lanes and got hit by a Ford.
The driver of the Honda was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries. His name was not yet released pending kin notification.
Officers say that both drivers were wearing seat belts and do not suspect drugs or alcohol to be a factor of the crash. However, an investigation continues.
