SACRAMENTO, CA (April 2, 2020) — A Thursday morning two-vehicle accident on 47th Avenue near 54th Street claimed a woman’s life.
 
According to reports, the 7:00 a.m. collision happened on 47th Avenue near 54th Street. Authorities have thus far determined in their investigation that 72-year-old Doris Yvonne Griffin‘s vehicle collided with another car under unknown circumstances.
 
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported her to a local hospital where she died from her injuries. The other driver sustained minor injuries in the crash.
