Gilbert Chang Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Vasco Road [Livermore, CA]
SUV and Motorcycle Involved in Fatal Accident in Livermore
LIVERMORE, CA (March 29, 2020) – Police identified Gilbert Chang as the motorcyclist killed in a motorcycle crash on North Vasco Road on Sunday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened just after 9:00 PM.
Livermore Police said that the victim’s Ducati crossed from the northbound lane into the southbound lane. As a result, it crashed head-on into an oncoming silver 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer.
Authorities said that 48-year-old Chang of Brentwood ejected from the bike. He was declared dead at the scene.
34-year-old Dustin Holland, the Livermore man who was driving the SUV, sustained major injuries and was transported to Eden Medical Center for treatment.
An investigation is ongoing. However, no other details are available.
