$3M Settlement Award for Fatal Auto Accident

Wrongful Death Compensation Awarded to Heirs of Deceased

The fatal auto accident occurred in September 2015 in Yucca Valley, California, when the victim was struck head-on by another vehicle  that failed to yield to the right-of-way. The Defendant is a driver of a commercial vehicle and had 41 passengers, 2 of whom were transported to the local hospital immediately following the collision.  The Defendant driver was in violation of CA Vehicle Code § 21801 (a) for an unsafe left turn, which resulted in the accident and the untimely death of the victim. The Defendant was not cited at the scene of the accident.
