Steve Mehr Committed to Providing 25,000 Meals for Local Families in Need
Successful Entrepreneur Feeds 16,000 during the Holidays, With the Goal to Reach at least 25,000 This Year
Orange County, CA: Accomplished attorney, advisor, and entrepreneur Steven Mehr has pledged to give 25,000 meals to families in need by the end of 2019. Having organized countless food and toy drives over the years, Mehr feels a renewed passion and commitment to helping the community.
“Early in my career, I knew I wanted to make a difference,” said WebShark360 CEO Steve Mehr. “I have created thriving businesses that have put me in a position where I can now make a true, substantial impact. What would that say of me if I were to watch people around me suffer, when I have every ability to prevent or at least ease the pain?”
Having spent years volunteering and sponsoring events for the Orange County Rescue Mission, Mehr has proudly partnered with the organization to further his mission of feeding those in need. Throughout the holidays, he donated over 16,000 meals and is aiming to continue throughout the year in order to reach his goal of 25,000.
The Orange County Rescue Mission is a staple of Southern California. The non-profit organization provides meals and clothing, education, housing, and employment opportunities, as well as medical assistance to the poor and homeless community in Orange County. Thousands of men, women, and children are directly affected each year by the donations and programs set up through the Mission.
“Steve has been involved with our Mission for many years and is a welcomed face around our facility,” said Derrick Burton, Program Director of the Orange County Rescue Mission. “He is a man of integrity, who does so much more than just volunteering. Steve expresses a genuine desire to make a difference in his community and to help those who are struggling and need help.”
Although he is best known as a highly driven, savvy entrepreneur, Mehr hopes to set a standard for other local law firms to serve their communities.
