Rider Hospitalized in Suspected DUI Crash on Stead Boulevard [Reno, NV]
Two Vehicles Involved in Injury Crash near Silver Lake Road
RENO, NV (April 18, 2020) – A motorcycle rider was sent to the hospital following a suspected DUI crash on Stead Boulevard on Saturday night.
According to Reno Police, the accident happened near Silver Lake Road around 8:40 PM. Officers said the rider collided with an unknown vehicle.
As a result, paramedics transported the motorcyclist to Renown Regional Medical Center for treatment of unknown injuries. The driver of the car stayed on scene and cooperated with police.
Southbound lanes of Stead Boulevard towards Highway 395 were closed while rescue and clearing operations took place in the area.
Police said alcohol or speed were considered as possible factors in the crash. However, an investigation is ongoing.
