Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Highway 41 at North Friant Road [Fresno, CA]
Fatal Pedestrian Crash Leads to Major-Injury Pedestrian Accident in Fresno
FRESNO, CA (January 7, 2021) — One person died during Saturday’s pedestrian accident on Highway 41 at North Friant Road.
According to reports, the fatal crash happened around 11:00 p.m. Upon spotting the critically injured pedestrian in the roadway, a woman pulled over and began walking onto the highway to assist.
However, as she tried rendering efforts to tend to the victim, an oncoming vehicle struck her. As a result, the woman sustained major injuries but is expected to survive.
Unfortunately, the first pedestrian died after being apparently hit by two vehicles, say reports. As of late, reports included no information about the drivers involved in the initial accident.
We would like to take this moment to send our heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and friends of the victim.
