Two Injured in DUI Accident on McKinley Avenue [Fresno, CA]
Truck Crashes into House in DUI Accident on McKinley Avenue near Channing Avenue in Fresno
FRESNO, CA (October 21, 2020) – At least two people suffered injuries in a DUI accident on McKinley Avenue on Wednesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Channing Avenue around 8:30 PM.
Based on a report, a truck was traveling north on Channing when it collided with a Tesla that was headed west on McKinley. Subsequently, the crash impact sent the Tesla into a yard and the truck through a house.
The homeowner said he was sitting on a couch at the time of the crash. As a result, the victim suffered minor injuries. In addition, emergency crews transported the Tesla driver to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
Police said the driver of the truck failed a sobriety test and will likely face DUI charges. At this point, an investigation is ongoing.
